Clinical Study

We carefully reviewed emerging clinical studies on SiWake®’s key actives that support hair growth pathways. Building on these findings, our team developed a formula designed to enhance ingredient performance and deliver noticeable results with consistent daily use.

A five-month clinical study investigated the effects of daily orthosilicic acid supplementation on women’s hair quality. In this trial, participants received a daily dose of orthosilicic acid, and researchers evaluated improvements in hair strength, growth, and overall quality.

34 women aged 17-57 years underwent monthly hair growth measurements, assessed with questionnaires on hair quality perception, and protein loss analysis via spectrophotometry.

  • Perceived Improvement: 83% of participants reported enhanced hair quality.
  • Accelerated Growth: 79.4% experienced increased hair growth rates, averaging in 37.6% rise.
  • Enhanced Hair Strength: Spectrophotometric analysis indicated reduced protein loss, signifying stronger hair fibers.

Collagen–orthosilicic acid represents the most bioavailable form of silicon, and therefore it is highly effective for beauty-from-within supplements. In fact, clinical studies demonstrate that it enhances skin elasticity, reduces visible signs of aging, and stimulates collagen production, ultimately supporting stronger and healthier connective tissue.

A 2007 clinical study explored the effects of combining capsaicin and isoflavone in stimulating Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) production. The research included both animal models and human subjects experiencing alopecia.

For 5 months, 48 individuals with alopecia were split into two groups and assessed:

  • 31 participants received daily oral doses of capsaicin and isoflavone
  • 17 participants received a placebo
  • IGF-1 Levels: Participants receiving capsaicin and isoflavone showed a significant increase in plasma IGF-1 levels.
  • Hair Growth promotion:
    • 64.5% (20 out of 31) of the treatment group experienced hair growth promotion.

The findings suggest that the synergistic effect of capsaicin and isoflavone may promote hair growth by stimulating IGF-1 production.

Although clinical trials often isolate individual nutrients, we recognized that achieving real-world results requires a multi-pathway approach. Therefore, we combined various natural actives—each supported by its own body of research—into a cohesive and balanced formulation designed to promote long-term hair rejuvenation.

IGF-1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1), a hormone essential for growth and regeneration, supports hair health by extending the anagen phase. In addition, it strengthens follicles and promotes cell renewal. Consequently, higher levels are linked to increased hair density, whereas lower levels are associated with hair loss.
